Over 38000 people attended the Non League Finals Day event at Wembley Stadium held on the 21st May 2017.

Non League Finals day comprises the two non league trophy finals of the Buildbase FA Vase and the Buildbase FA Trophy.

First up was the Buildbase FA Vase match of Cleethorpes Town against South Shields. Over 10000 South Shields fans saw their team comfortably beat Cleethorpes Town 3-0 a score that was kept down by an impressive Cleethorpes Town goalkeeper Liam Higton.

The second match was an all National League affair of just relegated York City against Macclesfield Town. In a fairly even contest York City won the game  3-2 with the winner scored by Aidan Connolly in the 86th minute
