2019-20 Barrow Promoted to EFL

Congratulations to Barrow who have been crowned champions based on a final ppg outcome of the 2019-20 National League and will be promoted to the EFL
Barrow were last in the EFL in the 1971-72 season and were voted out of the league to be replaced by Hereford. Barrow entered the National League Structure in the Northern Premier League for the 1972-73 season.
Barrow end that season 23rd in the league.
Its interesting to see the clubs in the league at this time with Wigan Athletic being members of the league
Barrow over the course of the years were promoted to and relegated from the top tier of Non League a couple of times. Their current stay in the National League was the 2015-16 Season.
Barrow ended that season 11th
Barrows promotion will no doubt come to the relief of esp the other Southern based National League clubs due to the location in the UK meaning many hours of travel esp for games re-arranged for mid week.
