The 1st round proper of the 2016-17 Emirates FA Cup takes place this weekend of Friday 4th though Monday 7th November
The round consists of 40 ties with the winner receiving £18000.
The league sides from Division 1 and 2 enter the competition at this round together with the 16 non league clubs that progressed from the 4th qualifying round
Their are a number of all national league clashes including Torquay against Woking, top of the national league Forest Green Rovers away at Sutton Utd.
Smaller teams in the round include Midland side Westfields, Surrey sides Merstham and Egham.
The draw for the 2nd round proper will take place on Monday 7th November at the home of Southport prior to their bt sport televised game against Fleetwood Town.
The other two games from this round televised are Eastleigh from the National League at home to Swindon Town of League One and Merstham of the Ryman Premier League against League One Oxford Utd. All televised teams receive £67500.
The following non league sides have been drawn against league opposition Solihull Moors, Macclesfield Town, Harrow Borough, Dover Athletic, Spennymoor own, Brackley Town, Alfreton Town, Maidstone Utd, St Albans City, Boreham Wood and Stamford AFC with 6 all non league ties with the lowest ranked side Westfields playing Curzton Ashton.
