The weekend of 10/12/2016 sees the first round proper of the buildbase fa trophy.

The round comprises 32 fixtures with the winners receiving £5000

This is the first round where the National League Premier leagues are involved. History has shown the Premier clubs don't often at this stage take the competition too seriously so there are bound to be plenty of national premier sides beaten by lower opposition
